Donnie Allen (Bass/Vocals)
Donnie is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has performed in bands since the age of 10, and with the JYB since 2001. He was inspired to play guitar by Bruce Springsteen and The Grateful Dead back in high school, and has been gigging steadily ever since. Some of his other musical inspirations include: The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, Graham Parker, Paul Westerberg, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, and too many more to mention.
Donnie has played guitar, bass, and drums in countless cover and original bands, and continues to makes regular appearances with other bands/duos, including "Acoustic Junk" with fellow JYB member, Jeff Gregori.
Donnie has released three CDs of his own songs and continues to write and record original material.
